  Transfers *AMENDED SEASON 12*
All transfer deals should be submitted before the league matches take place. Transfers take place after any matches are played
Managers can negotiate between themselves. When a transfer has been agreed, both managers must submit the details before the next set of matches. If both managers do this then the transfer will go through as detailed.
If one manager fails to put deal through, deal is held over on transfer page until either confirmed or rejected
You cannot go into debt to buy any player

If a manager who is in debt drop out of the game then ESL will take over the side and sell of an asset to pay off the debt so that the club can be released for management.
There are no transfer slots, You can carry out a limitless amount of transfers per week
Transfers can be emailed in any time of the week and doesnít have to be attached to teamsheet, transfers will go through after that rounds fixtures have been played

Buying from your feeder side *AMENDED SEASON 12*
Each season you have an opportunity to sign a maximum of two players from your feeder side
The minimum fee that you must pay is 8M
If the feeder side has signed a player that you want but has paid over 8M for the player the minimum that the parent side will have to pay would be the fee that the feeder side paid
if the feeder side has signed a player as part of a swap deal a fair fee will be based on what value the swaps are worked out at

Selling to your feeder side *AMENDED SEASON 12*
If you wish to sell a player to your feeder side then it would be preferable if it was below market value
If the move isnt of benefit to the feeder side then you will be asked for a reason on the deal
If ESL reject the move after the reason is giventhen the only way the player can go to your feeder side is by being released on a free to them.
You can only sell 2 players down a season, any other transfers would go down as frees
Any player you sell down you can rebuy back when 15 week transfer ban ends, if you sell down for lower than minimum fee which you can buy (8m) then it will cost you that to buy back

  Loans *AMENDED SEASON 12*
Players can be loaned between sides as long as loaning team does not drop below minimum squad level of 21 players
The minimum a loan deal can be placed for is 4 weeks, the maximum is a season, if loan deal put through as open loaning team can recall after 4 weeks or loanee team can cancel loan

Feeder club to Parent club loans *AMENDED SEASON 12*
Any player that a feeder side purchases cannot be loaned to the parent side that season
Players who go on loan from feeder to parent side cannot return the following season, Parent clubs must purchase the player to have him return
Parent sides can only loan in 2 players from their feeder side per season - (8m per player unless signed for higher fee)

  Overs *AMENDED SEASON 12*
From preseason to week 15 you can buy a player aged 25 or over who will join up on week 15
This player can be bought from the ranks of your own side for 15M or from an external side not associated with the gameworld for 30M
You can also negotiate with a fellow manager for an over 25 player at their real side but not associated with their game world side the fee for this is 30M

  Youth Signings
Any team from week 15 onwards can pay 5M pounds in a one off payment to be guaranteed a youth player or player who has broke through your sides youth ranks or aged up to 24 and has been at your real life club for more than 3 seasons
If a youth player has transferred into your club side and not come through the youth ranks you must pay 10M to land him
If your club side does not have a good youth set up you can bring in a youth player from a club side not associated with the game world this will cost your side 30M
You can also negotiate with a fellow manager for a youth player at their real side but not associated with their game world side the fee for this is 20M
Any player who comes up from the youth ranks to your feeder side cannot be loaned or sold for one season

QUICK BREAKDOWN NO FIRST TEAM APPEARANCES FOR ANOTHER CLUB AND BROKE THROUGH YOUTH RANK 5M
SIGNED FOR YOUR SIDE WITHIN LAST 3 YEARS 10M
SIGNED FROM ANOTHER ESL SIDES (REAL LIFE TEAM AND AGREED WITH MANAGER) 20M
  BOUGHT EXTERNALLY 30M

  Bosman Market *AMENDED SEASON 12*
Teams who weigh up their options and decide they have a few hangers on who have no real future for their sides can release the players
You will not receive any money for releasing them but would ultimately save on paying their wage at the end of the season if released before week 20
The Bosman players would go into a transfer list were they can be picked up by another manager but not from the parent/feeder side of releasing side
Players released for retirement fee who are under the age of 33 (35 for a GK) will come onto the Bosman market if they are of decent rating and could do a job for a team these players will not be eligible to be retired again and when they do retire the team would receive nothing for them.

Players brought in from Bosman Market are automatically given 3 year contracts which can only be broken by the player
If a Bosman player signed before week 15 has not played in 10 games for that season they walk away from the club with 3 seasons wages lost
If a Bosman player is kept and played for the 3 seasons making 30 appearances and hasn't previously been retired then he can be retired for the Retirement fee
Bosman signings cannot be sold to other teams they can only be released
If a Bosman player is kept after the 3 seasons and given a new contract then he becomes like the rest of the team meaning he can pick up sub points to make up his 10 games

If a player leaves a side at the end of a season where he hasnít played in 10 games and has been released for a fee (seasons wage x contract length) he will go onto Bosman list but not treated as a Bosman signing
a manager can pick him up for the release fee, either from club at end of season within game or from bosman list
These players can be given any length of contract up to 5 years and can be retired or sold on

  Swap Deals
Swap deals within the ESL gameworld is an easy way of doing deals without a lot of money changing hands
A swap deal must have only one player on at least one side of the deal. It can be a 1 for 2 or 1 for 3 etc. and money can be added to either side.

If a swap deal is put forward but doesnít make much sense then this can be questioned and ultimately put to transfer panel

  Transfer Panel
We have installed a transfer panel within the game this consists of a group of longer serving managers
Transfers or swap deals which are blocked will be discussed on the forum where the best course of action will be decided
If the transfer is blocked then it will need reworked for it to go ahead.
Help will be given to provide a satisfactory conclusion

Squads must not drop below minimum 21 players

WAGES & CONTRACTS *AMENDED SEASON 12*
  The wage scale currently is
Players Rating x 15 = Wage Scale for the season so a 50 rated player would cost his Premiership side 750K per season

If a player decreases in rating during the season the rating he started at will be what the wages are judged on.
If a player increases in rating during the season the full rating he finishes the season will be what his wages are judged on as it would be a performance type pay.
If a player is sold throughout the season regardless of week the buying club pays the players wage for that season
Contracts are the yearly wage x whatever length of contract you offer
If a player who has signed a contract for more than the one season improves in rating for each of the seasons you do not need to pay additional monies for contract renewals as with rating increases wages increase also

Suspended or injured players cannot play and if named on teamsheet will be replaced by first sub who plays in position, the sub place will be lost

If a team selection is not selected then a team will be selected for you containing the players who played the last game barring injuries
If your tactics are not selected then tactics will be automatically selected but these will be default tactics and will not take advantage of your players skills.

Each individual player has an aggression level which is a hidden stat, so if you play normal or above average then you risk the player getting booked or sent off
